Hi, I’m Chè Nxusani, a Principal Software Engineer and technical lead based in Cape Town, South Africa.

I build AI-powered products and lead engineering teams, with experience spanning healthcare, education, publishing, telecommunications, and enterprise software. I’ve worked with companies including Elsevier, Osmosis, Axel Springer, Red Bull, Amer Sports, and Dimension Data.

My recent work focuses on RAG systems, AI agents, semantic search, and recommendation systems, with an emphasis on thoughtful architecture, developer experience, and building products that solve real problems.

I’m passionate about the intersection of engineering, product design, and AI, and I enjoy mentoring engineers and helping teams build better software.
